AI tools and digital systems make many things possible from day one. Choosing well starts with a question: which process or decision do we want to improve? For a hackathon venture, testing the way of working may matter more than buying software.
Start with the work that needs to happen
Describe what starts and ends the process, the information that passes through it and who owns the decision at each stage. If the team disagrees on these points, the technology will face the same uncertainty. A clear model gives you a sound basis for choosing a suitable tool.
Test before making a full commitment
A prototype lets you try out a way of working and discover what is missing. It may reveal that an important field is not being captured, an approval step is slowing the service or an unclear responsibility is blocking completion. Addressing these issues early improves the decision about what to build.
Define the roles of people and systems
In a hybrid institution, a system may collect, analyse, suggest or act within defined permissions. It must be clear who approves the result, what needs review and when execution should stop or be reconsidered. Responsibility remains essential as automation expands.
Watch where the bottleneck moves
Producing a draft faster does not make the whole process faster if drafts then pile up with one reviewer. Look at the complete workflow, checking the quality of the result and the team’s ability to learn and follow through.
The Twindix pathway
The automation pathway connects DINFRA for readiness diagnosis, PROTOPICS for testing the model and GDI for embedding the practice in a digital system. The appropriate next step depends on the institution’s situation and what the work actually requires.
