Build growth your business can fund.
Sales matter. Staying in business also requires understanding delivery costs, margins, and when cash comes in and goes out. From your first hackathon business model, you need to know how the business will operate between making a sale and collecting payment.

Why does it matter at this stage?
Sales can rise while your bank balance falls because you pay suppliers and your team before customers pay you. A large order may look attractive but require funding the business cannot support. Looking at sales alone hides this gap.
During the Entrepreneurial Ideas Hackathon, you begin testing your idea and developing your pitch. Each decision makes understanding this function part of your ability to turn an idea into something you can deliver and improve. Build what fits your current stage, then expand it as your needs grow.
Signals worth noticing
- You do not know each product’s or service’s margin after delivery costs.
- Payments fall behind even though sales have been recorded.
- You decide on discounts or expansion without considering cash flow.
Spending and pricing decisions based on total sales.

How Twindix can help
We begin by understanding your business and how its parts connect, then agree on a scope that fits your priorities. Depending on diagnosis and need, this may include:
Build a clear financial picture
Connect revenue, costs and margins to how the business actually operates.
Understand cash flow
Show how collection dates, payment terms and operating needs affect available cash.
Bring discipline to decisions
Use the right financial information to guide spending, pricing and expansion.
Track useful measures
Establish regular reviews that help the founder spot deviations early.
What does this look like in a small business?
An illustrative example: revenue of 100,000 and costs of 85,000 produce an accounting profit of 15,000. If only 30,000 has been collected while 85,000 has been paid out, the cash flow from these transactions is negative 55,000. Profit and cash collection answer different questions.
